Farewell Gunners

I just went to the last Premier League game of the season at Emirates Stadium, final score Arsenal 4 - 1 Stoke City. It was good to end on a high note despite having a disappointing finish to the FA Cup and Champions League races. I've really enjoyed going to these games and it will be one thing I definitely miss about being here in London. Oh well, that's what online streaming programs are for!

Only 2 More Days!

Well friends, it has been a simply amazing (yet expensive) experience thus far in Japan. In the last 3 days since I last wrote a long post, we have gone to Shibuya, Harajuku, Akihabara, an Onsen, Ueno Park, Imperial Palace, Diet Building, Yokohama, took the train to Kyoto to see various shrines, took a day trip to Nara Park and Naramachi, visited Osaka castle, came back to Kyoto and visited the Golden Temple and the Gion district where there were many more people having "hana-bi" and are now preparing to go back to Tokyo for the final day tomorrow. I can't wait to post all of the pictures I have taken; I regret to inform you the autofocus has stopped working in my camera, but that just means I'll have to be more selective about the photos I am taking.

Internet is scarce

Hey all,

Just letting you know I'm in Kyoto now and internet is hard to find. I'm typing this from a Japanese internet cafe where the keyboard is really really hard to use. I will post an update later about my progress. Last day in Tokyo was amazing; we went to Yokohama and went up the fastest lift in the world (70 floors in 40 seconds!) The view was amazing. Having a blast so far, will talk later. Arrrrgh stupid keyboard, it keeps typing kana instead of english letters.
